DEREK
SCHERING
Married for 22 years Derek and his wife Belen have 3 children. He is Anchor's leading Executive Director. Anchor allows Derek to share and show the love of Jesus through personal teaching, discipleship and care. He is especially excited about college students as this is a time in life where students really develop their faith and personalize it while grappling with the big questions.
ZACH
HITES
Zach is a 2013 graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma. In college, he began a relationship with Jesus and has since been involved in collegiate ministry. God has called Zach to serve the campus of UCO while reminding students where their true identity lies.
JESSICA CRUZAN
After working for a few years as a speech pathologist , Jessica felt a call from the Lord to give her life to work with American and international students at the University of Central Oklahoma. She desires that students discover who Jesus really is, who God has fashioned and designed them to be, and hopes to equip them to share the freedom of Christ with those they come in contact with.
Bryan Becker
Bryan spent 3 years at UCO before transferring to Wheaton College in Illinois. He has a degree in biblical studies and theology and is working on an MA in church history. Long term, Bryan and his wife Essie want to raise their kids among displaced Muslims in Europe. Bryan is passionate about helping college students realize the abundance of life in Christ—what it is like to truly experience freedom from sin and a purposeful life on mission for God.
