Join us in Making Disciples
Anchor is a discipleship ministry leading 18-29 year olds into discovering, loving and obeying Jesus. We are a team of four partnering with local churches in their mission to evangelize, disciple and mobilize the younger generation. We are praying for two more women to join our team who have hearts to seek out the lost and equip the saved. Sending the next generation into the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is Anchor Looking for in a New Employee?
-
Openness and willingness to learn and grow in discipleship practices.
-
Ambition to grow in your own walk with Christ while adopting His heart for missions and discipleship.
-
Excitement to be part of a team that challenges each other in faith to reach for and experience the more of God.
-
Willingness to develop a team of supporters that provide financially and prayerfully for your ministry. ( Training & Coaching Provided )
-
Dependency upon Jesus. Trusting the power of the Holy Spirit to bring about all conformity to King Jesus.
Targeted Ministry Field
Generally, we are doing ministry in the Edmond & OKC area with more emphasis on UCO. Additionally, we minister to Oklahoma Christian students, working young adults and students of other colleges in the metro. Our reach can only be as effective as the laborers we mobilize. We have developed and continue to develop hearts for Gen Z.
Support Raising & Availability
Anchor has a team of seasoned disciple-makers ready to help set up new employees for success! This is a support-raising position. We know the idea of raising money for your ministry can be intimidating, but God will supply all of your needs and we will do everything possible to set you up for success. It does require you to risk reaching out to friends, family, and community for partnership. We will help you in this process. You will not be alone.
We have always made it a practice to be flexible because we know that availability comes with varying components to one’s responsibilities. We do need Anchor employees to be available one night a week; traditionally it’s been Tuesdays from 6-10pm. We also need schedules to align so that you can attend staff meetings which have traditionally been two hours long usually 10-12 on Mondays. We work together to make as much unified ministry to occur as we possibly can. We are open to hiring part-time and full-time positions.
